Step One: Complete an approved 60-hour home inspection course.

Step Two: Complete 5 ride-along inspections with an Illinois licensed home inspector with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Once the Coursework Is Done

Upon completion of the course, you will be an ICA Certified Home Inspector and we will mail your transcript to you. After you pass the state test, the IDFPR will issue you a license number, which you can use on your business cards, website, and inspection reports.
