With a mix of online, self-paced training, along with 3 days of classroom and field training, all students will learn what it takes to become a successful inspector. The ICA home inspection course teaches you everything you need to know to properly inspect residential and commercial properties, how to complete a professional inspection report, even how to build your own successful home inspection business.
How to Become a Home Inspector in Canada in 3 Steps:
- Complete a Provincially-approved home inspection training course. This will give you the knowledge you’ll need to perform home inspections and own/operate a successful home inspection business. Upon completion of the course, you will be an ICA Certified Home Inspector. We will issue you a certification number for use on your business cards and inspection reports.
- Take and pass the National Home Inspectors Exam (NHIE). We thoroughly prepare all students for the exam with comprehensive training, a 200-page online study guide and 700 exam prep practice questions.
- Congratulations! Now you can start your own business or work as a home inspector.
