How to Become a Home Inspector in California:

  1. Register for ICA’s online real estate inspection certification program.  This will give you all the knowledge you’ll need to perform a home inspection and own/operate your own successful home inspection business. Upon completion of the course, you will be an ICA Certified Home Inspector and we will issue you a certification number, which you can use on your business cards and inspection reports.
  2. Start your own business or go to work for an existing company!

Students can complete our online self-paced course to earn their certification. This allows students to log in and complete the training anytime, day or night.
