No-Cost Home Inspection Training with ArmyIgnitED and Air Force COOL Credentialing Assistance
Home inspection training from Inspection Certification Associates is available to Army and Air Force servicemembers at no cost with approval through the ArmyIgnitED and Air Force COOL programs, which provides up to $4,000 in credentialing assistance for approved training.
The Department of Defense began the Army Credentialing Assistance Program in 2019 in an effort to help service members grow their skills. By offering financial assistance, the ArmyIgnitED program allows soldiers to complete credentialing programs, such as home inspection training, to enhance their service career and to help them transition into civilian life. Active duty Army soldiers can even inspect homes part time on the side to earn additional income.

Who is Eligible for Army Credentialing Assistance?
Credentialing Assistance (CA) provides financial assistance for classroom and online training, manuals, study guides, books, testing fees, and other fees related to continuing education so soldiers can earn education credits to either enhance their current skills, or gain new skills in an occupation they want to pursue after military service.
The Army Credentialing Assistance Program is available exclusively to Army service members including:
- Active-duty Army soldiers
- Army National Guard soldiers
- United States Army Reserve soldiers
Army Credentialing Assistance is a self-development program and credentials do not need to be aligned to the soldier’s MOS. It’s available for all ranks within the Army, including:
- Warrant Officers

When you enroll in the program, you can start your online training immediately. The average person completes the training in about three to four weeks, but there is no time limit to finish it.
Your login and password will always be valid with us, so even after you graduate, you will still be able to log back in and review our lessons and have continued access to our online reference library.
