Illinois Home Inspector Continuing Education Courses Online

IMPORTANT: All of the final exams for Illinois courses MUST BE PROCTORED.

 

The Illinois 2024 Home Inspector Renewal deadline is November 30, 2024. Prior to renewing a license, the licensee shall complete the required courses:

If the home inspector was licensed on or before November 30, 2022:

• 12 hours of CE is required, of which 6 hours must be approved as Mandatory
• 1-hour Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Course

If the home inspector was licensed between December 1, 2022 and November 30, 2023:

• 6 hours of CE is required, of which 3 hours must be approved as Mandatory
• 1-hour Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Course

If the home inspector was licensed on or after December 1, 2023:

• No CE is required for this renewal
