Maryland Home Inspection Online Continuing Education Courses

Once you complete a course, you will submit your completion certificates to the Maryland Department of Labor and Licensing when you are ready to renew your MD Home Inspector license.

A. A renewal applicant shall provide a certification of compliance with renewal requirements, under Business Occupations and Professions Article, §16-3A-07, Annotated Code of Maryland, under penalty of perjury, in an appropriate form specified by the Commission.

B. The Commission, at its discretion, may verify the information and documentation supporting a renewal applicant’s certification of continuing professional competency credit. Upon request, the renewal applicant shall submit to the Commission, or its designee, copies of the original documentation supporting the certification provided under §A of this regulation.

You must contact the Maryland Home Inspector Board to become reinstated.  The Commission may not reinstate the license of an individual who for any reason fails to apply for reinstatement within five years after the license has expired.

Home Inspector Continuing Education hours will be displayed on your downloadable certificate when you complete each course with ICA.  The table above lists each hour a course will count toward for your renewal.
