North Carolina requires 12 hours of continuing education every year to renew your home inspector license. 4 of these hours must be the Mandatory NCHILB Update Course. The Mandatory Update Course must be attended as a live webinar. The next deadline is September 10, 2022. The online courses listed below are all approved by the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board.

Please note that the same elective continuing education course may be taken only once for continuing education credit during any three year period. A licensee may carry over up to eight elective credit hours per year until the next year.

Due to state requirements, the North Carolina Continuing Education courses are not currently available. Courses will be available again on October 1st, 2022.
