Licensed Home Inspector Joe Mazza Becomes a TV Star
A new tv show is shining a light on the home inspection industry. HGTV’s new show, “Home Inspector Joe”, follows successful home inspector, Joe Mazza, as he works with families to find and provide a safe and secure home. Each episode provides future home inspectors and home buyers with mountains of useful information.
Who is Joe Mazza?
After 20 years in the construction industry, Joe decided he needed to try something different and became a licensed home inspector. After running his own home inspection business, based out of New York, for many years, and creating a popular Instagram account where he discusses various home inspection aspects, HGTV came calling.
What Does a Home Inspector Do?
Home Inspector Joe shows viewers what it is like to be a home inspector. A home inspector is a licensed professional who inspects the structure of a home and identifies immediate or potential problems typically for real estate buyers and sellers. Home inspectors will look at things like the home’s foundation, roof, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, check for mold or termite damage, and much more.
A career in home inspection is perfect for anyone who wants to set their own hours and is detail oriented.
