Mold Inspection Training Course | 16 Hours
This course provides an introduction to mold inspection, prevention, and remediation practices, based on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s voluntary March 2001 guidance Mold Remediation in Schools and Commercial Buildings
Learners will gain a foundational understanding of mold growth, health risks, inspection techniques, sampling protocols, and professional reporting. While the course follows EPA recommendations, it also incorporates industry best practices to prepare inspectors for real-world field conditions.
This course provides educational guidance only and is not intended to replace local, state, or federal requirements. EPA, OSHA, and CDC do not regulate mold or mold spores in the air. The information presented is applicable to damage caused by clean water, not flood water.
